Vintage adjustable height quack medical lamp sold by Ajusco through their "Zorex" medical lamp banner.

This piece was once used (and only meant to be used) by physicians who prescribed infra-red light therapy. This particular brand of "therapy" was said to be an almost cure-all as it was claimed that infra-red rays could provide a gamut of health benefits, including detoxification, pain relief, reduction of muscle tension, relaxation, improved circulation, weight loss, skin purification, lowered side effects of diabetes, boosting of the immune system and lowering of blood pressure. While we're all for bettering oneself, we doubt this lamp will help you shed unwanted pounds. But it works great for illuminating your space.

Exhibits minor signs of wear including some rust and tarnish. Rewired in-shop.
